The Shamwari Galllery promotes connectivity between Zimbabwe and the Bay Area through the arts by hosting special receptions exhibiting the collections of visiting Zimbabwe artists. In collaboration with non-profit organizations, these cultural events celebrate Afrocentric arts in the Bay Area.
The gallery has a stunning collection of Shona Sculpture, dazzling, hand-beaded Ndebele dolls, magnificent paintings, sketches, and African wall art from Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. Customized import requests and commissioned pieces are available.
